Newburyport High School offers Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 at three different levels: College Prep Level 2, College Prep Level 1, and Honors.

The core curriculum topics are consistent for each of the 3 levels. However, the courses  will vary in pace, depth of topics, difficulty of problem sets, and level of instruction.  

 

Honors level math courses are for the student who has a passion for math and wants to gain a deeper understanding of the concepts. Our CP2 level math courses offer additional supports and a slower pace to allow students time to master each of the concepts.

Our upper level math courses include: Pre-Calculus (at the CP1 and Honors levels), AP Calculus (AB or BC), and AP Statistics. We also offer a Financial Math Course that is recommended and available to all seniors .
